I think it would have been interesting to have him in the taxi and not actually be coupled with anyone at the end of the video; like, he was a victim of a "lazy lover" (or a lazy lover himself) and he's vowing now to never go down that road again, realizing what kind of damage it can do. I think that would have been an interesting take on the idea... having him singing this song out of experience.
I have wondered that if we saw Theo as part of one of the couples, just what couple would we seem him a part of? It would have been neat to see just solo shots like this in the video as well though!
I would have kind of liked to see Theo in the taxi in his video, perhaps a type of scenario showing him in the video coupled with someone inside the cab at the end of the video. Wishful thinking perhaps on my part, lol. Still a great video though of course!
I wondered the same thing as Sue. I was surprised when I first saw the video because I had already seen these photos of him, but he was never in the cab. Either way, it's a beautiful picture. I love his hair.

Aw, that would have been so cool. However, having Theo just at the piano was much different from normal music videos.
