Theo Tams' brand new video for his song "Wait For You" premieres today! Watch it now on the video page or on VEVO and let us know what you think by commenting below!
This is one of my favourite songs from Give It All Away so I was both excited and a little anxious when I heard Theo was doing a video for it. It was much more than I expected! It is beautifully cut together and allows Theo to remain where he is most comfortable; in front of his beloved piano. Theo's passion is shown amazingly in this video, giving the song a very personal and relatable feel (at least to me). Being a musician myself, the shots of his hands at the piano are some of my favourites, getting to see how his fingers come alive on the ebony and ivory (and see what chords he uses too).
All in all, a wonderful video all-round and artistry in its true form.
I absolutely LOVE this version of the song!! PLEASE release this acoustic version as a single so I can buy it. Your voice is one of the few in the world that is actually better suited to "unplugged" songs than to overly produced ones.
I can't wait to see you live...so please come the beautiful Okanagan in British Columbia!
I agree with you, Kaitlyn, it is a very different vibe but that is one of the things I really love about this video. The transition from frame to frame is a really interesting concept and I love how the video captures so many different angles and wonderful moments. I love the simplicity of this video as it allows the viewer to become totally engaged in the brilliance of Theo's performance....we are not distracted by a secondary storyline happening in the background. Theo, thank you again for sharing your beautiful music with us....
On a less serious note....thanks for giving us a peek at some chords and note progressions......I suspect that a few of your fans have taken this information and tested it on their own piano!
