Theo Tams has collaborated with singer-songwriter Ali Slaight on a Christmas charity single to help support War Child Canada for the holidays! The song is a modern version of the classic Christmas carol, “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and net proceeds from the sale of the track, until March 31, 2010, will go directly to War Child Canada. “Do You Hear What I Hear?” will be available on iTunes on November 10.

“This has always been a favourite Christmas song of mine, it holds such emotion and history, and I love it as a duet. The lyric ‘Pray for peace, people, everywhere’ really rings true. We just knew it was the perfect song to help support War Child for the holidays,” said Theo Tams on the song selection.

“The holiday season is my favourite time of year, largely because it’s a kind, forgiving and charitable occasion; the War Child cause is year round,” commented Ali Slaight. “I applaud the War Child team for their tireless efforts in bringing education and awareness to the world regarding the rights of children. I'm also delighted to have had the chance to work with my friend Theo on what to me is a holiday classic.”

Both Theo and Ali are huge supporters of War Child Canada. Ali visited Uganda this summer with War Child and Theo took part in their Busking For Change charity event earlier this year.
