I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Theo is an incredibly talented CANADIAN artist! I mentioned somewhere before that I was initially drawn into the 'Theo web' when I first saw him on Canadian Idol. It did not take long for me to see that he is a gifted musician and singer. Not only is he that, but he CAN write! I find the lyrics to his songs powerful, meaningful and I can easily make connections to them. This is the kind of music I want (need) to listen to.

I am also a fan because of the humanitarian role Theo embraces. Our country (World) needs people to step up to the plate and be passionate about others in need. Theo is clearly delivering this message through his volunteer work in India, donating the proceeds of his Christmas single, Humane Society connections, etc... I feel that Theo is a wonderful role model for our youth and his message and actions might cause others to think and ultimately...DO!

(I thought, what the heck, I like this previous post so I decided to add it....my Mother always felt that I was a little rebellious! Smiling)

i am writing this not just to win but to let others how great of a role model Theo is.
i do not know theo by person but he seems like a really great guy.
i tried to go to theos concert on the 22 of November but there was a storm in Saskatchewan so theo, mitch and drew couldnt come. the concert had been canceled.
that is still the worst night ever just because i had been waiting so long.
i would like to got the book and i LOVE the cd.
my favorite songs on the album are here we go again, dead wrong, fair-weather-friend, wait for you,and of coarse lazy lovers (the first one i heard).
great job theo
i cant wait for the next cd!! lol

This is a very cool idea. I'd love to have something I've written featured on the site. Do previous posts count?

This is a review I wrote many moons ago...it was something that Centrepointe patrons were encouraged to do...this is my view of that wonderful evening. (I am pulling it from the 'archives')

On December 16th, my husband and I had the pleasure of going to the Top 3 Canadian Idol concert at Centrepointe theatre. We are huge Canadian Idol fans and bought our tickets minutes after Theo Tams was crowned in September. We wanted to see first and foremost, Theo, but were happy to see both Mitch and Drew as well.

Let me tell you, we were not disappointed with the show these young men put on. For musicians who are really just starting out, they shared a polished and very entertaining show with us all. These men were comfortable interacting with the audience and had great fun teasing and joking with each other on stage. This, I feel, is a key component for a successful concert.

The music was EXCEPTIONAL! Theo is a true musician and I was totally mesmerized when he graced the stage. When he was alone on the stage, playing the piano and singing a song, you could hear a pin drop in the audience....he held each of us in the palm of his hand. Theo sings with emotion and you feel that he may even be singing to you! I am anxiously awaiting Theo's new single (to be released in January) and his CD (to be released March 31st).

We thoroughly enjoyed listening to Drew and Mitch sing as well. Drew is a true rocker and I loved his performances at this concert more than his idol performances. Mitch is very endearing and how could you not love him? Listening to Mitch play his guitar and sing some of his favourites was very comforting. I loved the choices Mitch made and he did an exceptional job performing each of his songs.

After the concert, we had an opportunity to meet the 'Top 3' plus their guest idol, Katherine St. Laurent. Each of the idols was friendly and interested in meeting us. They graciously signed shirts and posters and chatted briefly with their fans....and everyone truly appreciated this.

I can hardly wait to see Theo in concert again...I believe he has the talent to succeed in the music industry and Canada is so very lucky to have him as their idol.

I am assuming that previous postings or comments do not count....am I correct? (I kind of like what I wrote about 'Why I am a fan'...are you sure you can't dig things out of the archives? Smiling)
