So this is the last weekend before my show at Hugh's Room with Sara Kamin and Jeffery Straker- really hope all of you in and around the Toronto area will be able to make it Tuesday night- it's going to be an amazing show with tons of great music! I'm going to be debuting a couple of new songs I've written and I am so stoked to hear what you all think of them. For those of you who can't make the show- I'm sure you'll be able to view video on youtube!
This weekend I plan on catching up on some RnR- I feel like the visit with my family was amazing, but tiring. It's time to read a few good books and write a bunch of new things again. I have so many ideas- now I just have to learn to take the time to harness them and follow them all through. I should also vacuum- and that is by far my least favorite thing- blech- such is life when you have a dog that sheds like crazy...
The video of Manhattan Blue should drop sometime next week- I am so excited for you all to see it- I know it's been a bit of a wait! Hopefully the wait was worth it right?Be safe this long weekend- have a blast!
Take a little time to Dream Hard.

Hope you had a GREAT long weekend!
It's nice to see that you had the chance to take a little "me time" this weekend. We all need that once in a while, regardless of who we are or what we do. I'm so glad you had a chance to share some special time with your family as well.
Oh...the Manhattan Blue video...I'm definitely looking forward to this one, particularly since you have had so much personal input into the entire project. The little taste you've posted of it looks stunning! I really hope the song and the video both do wonderful things for you!
The Hugh's Room show sounds like it will be amazing, especially the thought of hearing some of your new songs. (WOOT!)
I'm am definitely looking forward to it!!
You know that many of us fans wish that we could be at ALL of your shows to support you and to enjoy your music, but it's obviously not possible...unless our 649 numbers hit.
There was a line in a book I just finished reading that I thought reflected how so many of us fans feel about that. In the book, the context was that it was being said to a pilot who had just landed a plane under very harrowing circumstances while the world watched, but the wording of the phrase made me think that it was a perfect description of how your fans feel each time you step on the stage to perform:
"There were many with you that day who were not physically present."
So no matter where you play, whether it is in the same city, half a country away, or on the other side of the world, I hope you are able to sense the love, support, and enthusiasm that your fans send out to you. The faces you see cheering in front of you in a crowd are only a fraction of the number of people who are actually cheering for you at that time.
Keep dreaming hard!
Love you!
Sue
Keep smiling

I hope you're enjoying a weekend filled with things you love doing. The vacuuming and other things on your "To Do" list can wait. Kick back and have a little fun. Crack open a cold one and enjoy the sunshine - lol.
I'm sorry to hear that your parents have returned to Alberta. That really sucks! Big hugs to you.
I'm positive the show at Hugh's Room this week will be amazing! Although I can't be there in person, I will be with you in "spirited" spirit.
Good things come to those who wait, right? I've waited in anticipation this long so, just a few more days should be a breeze. This video will be so worth the wait. Manhattan Blue will be breathtaking. I just know it.
Dream hard and, enjoy the rest of the weekend, Theo.
Cheers

The Hugh's Room show would be a perfect way to spend an evening! And although many of us cannot be there in body, we are most definitely there in spirit! I'm looking forward to seeing the videos of your new songs.
It sounds like you were very busy while your parents were visiting. I'm glad you had a chance to do some special activities with them and show them just how wonderful Toronto is. Take some time to kick your feet up and relax.....grab a good book....and perhaps a cold beverage. Enjoy the new patio your Mom organized. The vacuuming can wait, can't it?
Just so you know, it is ALWAYS worth waiting for good things.
Enjoy your weekend!
